In 2015, the Chamber purchased two second-generation Chevrolet Camaros from Holley Performance Products. The two vehicles were donated to Warren County Area Technology Center and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College to completely rebuild during the 2015-16 school year.
During this process, industry experts worked closely with students and faculty to aid in the development of the cars and the program’s curriculum, which includes multiple educational disciplines like science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). In May 2017, both cars were featured in the nationally-televised Mecum Automotive Auction in Indianapolis, Indiana, raising $74,000 and securing the future sustainability of the OnTrack program.
